Looking for a hotel near Mcleodganj to make your stay calm with the chirping of birds sound and doing some medication in the ‘lap of nature’ ? ‘The Pong Eco Village‘ is not just a hotel or resort which is located near Mcleodganj,  but a concept on which a team of hospitality enthusiasts who is in the trade for past 10 years, was working since past 4 years and it took a concrete figure a year back.

It was in december 2017, when we started to work on this hotel project only with a vision to complete it soon with a team of men and without any machine ‘in an eco manner’. It took the whole team exactly a year to give shape to the vision and finally ‘The Pong Eco Village’ came into existence.

YES! Our Hotel is ECO FRIENDLY and we are near to the heart of Himalayan’s, that is Mcleodganj & Dharamshala. You will get amazed to know that our hotel is located on a cliff surrounded by water from THREE SIDES, the property derives its existence from how the houses were made 30 -40 years back. No cement, only mud, total Eco Friendly hotel. The structure reflects the age-old construction ways with a blend of modern amenities.

At our Eco hotel, first unit of 8 rooms is operational to host the guests who want to experience peace and silence apart from the hustle and bustle of the cities. The place is a paradise for solace seekers, trekkers, birdwatchers and nature lovers.

The Pong Eco Village has a wide array of fun ways to stay active. Enjoy a dip in one of two mud spas(upcoming), or take yourself on an adventure across the lagoon. Exploring the water and discovering all our fantastic dam side life is a must, and you’ll find fishing equipment in the village so you can take off on your own expedition.

The connecting roads from the main highways are mostly paved and offer a good choice for the cyclists. So whenever you are planning to Mcleodganj or Dharamshala, whether you get your own cycles or contact us and we can guide you for a never to forget cycling trip in Himalayas.
